This recipe originally called for the brisket to be cooked in tomato soup and mushroom or cream of celery soup but it is really good when fixed with the Texas Barbecue sauce.
Take the brisket and trim off the excess fat from the meat. After the fat is trimmed, prepare a 13x9x2 inch pan by lining it with foil. Place the brisket in the pan, then cover with barbecue sauce, bottom of pan should be covered with sauce. Seal up meat with aluminum foil. Bake in pre-heated oven of 350 degrees F for 1 hour. After 1 hour, turn oven down to 200 degrees and cook for 4 hours. Remove pan and let cool in refrigerator, preferably overnight.
Before serving, warm up brisket at 350 degrees for one hour. Serve sliced up with more barbecue sauce.
